We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic development team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be on creating efficient, reliable, and user-friendly applications that meet our clients' requirements.

 

Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Design and develop advanced, scalable, and efficient Android applications using Java or Kotlin programming languages.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Perform code reviews to ensure the quality, performance, and security of the applications.

  • Debug and resolve application defects and performance issues, ensuring optimal application performance across different Android devices.

  • Conduct thorough testing of developed applications, including unit testing and integration testing, to identify and fix any bugs or issues.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

  • Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services into the applications to enhance functionality and improve user experience.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Android development, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting the defined requirements and quality standards.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Android application development.

  • Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and development tools.

  • Experience with Android frameworks such as Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, or other commonly used libraries.

  • Solid understanding of design patterns, architectural principles, and software development best practices.

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
